Why oh Why?

do they want us to defy?

Management seems to want to drown our voices out.

Phone calls, emails, and polite requests go ignored.

If you build something to make the village more accessible, or just your carpark, well, expect an Avalanche of backlash for a month or two!

Monday 26th

If you make a video? And post it that night?

tuesday 27th

Well, it’s like ants scurrying around before rain.

Or normal cockroaches when you turn on the light.

Not Ainslie Village Cockroaches though. They have adapted over the generations to realise they are the dominant life form in our kitchens and don’t even bother to hide.

Renetta drove to Bowra to try and take it down, I’m told. 🙂

Still no written communication with me though, nor phone calls.

wednesday 28th

I went to the Reconciliation launch on Wednesday, thought someone might say something.

Glad they didn’t it was a nice event, despite village aggravation.

thursday 29th

Thursday 29th though!

  1. Renetta took the day off.
  2. Builders(?) came around and measured the walkway I made, I’m told.
  3. Nice afternoon cup of tea with a friend out on some of our garden furniture.
  4. They sent a fully able resident out to mark up footpath faults.
  5. they sent the same resident round with a cart to steal away our garden furniture, spare wood, woodwork projects and more!

Also our worm farm, assorted tools, and would have taken more except one of us walked into the kitchen and saved the last four pieces of furniture.

Not a nice late afternoon delight!

At least last time they stole our outdoor furniture, they gave a week’s notice of a ‘clean-up’.

Pity they took it all away on the Wednesday, not the Thursday deadline in the written “tidy/clean up advice”. One of our residents got lawyers and courts involved, and got a lot of it back, not all though, that time.

Tit for Tat

Unused Staff Items

Windscreen Wipers & Lug Nuts?

This inspired me to get my phone and gimbal back out and go remove some things over by the Admin building that weren’t being used –

like windscreen wipers on staff cars!

I was tempted to take out a wrench and remove lug nuts too.

I did neither though, I just lifted the wipers vertical like you might do to put a pamphlet under them.

And got served with a breach of tenancy for a non-existent rule. Yay.

And another one for doing some *accurate* markup of where staff cars habitually block disabled access. Except this one is a notice to vacate!
